A project based on Assemblive won a prize !
[FR] MISE A JOUR: annonce sur projetdeterritoire.com: http://ow.ly/2AkeD
Plus d’info sur le projet gulliver sur ruralitic.org: http://ow.ly/2AkgD
The Gulliver project created by the city of Rennes and hosted on Assemblive at http://rennes.assemblive.com won a prize at the Ruralitic Forum. The city of Rennes created a very innovative experience online allowing people to discover in 3D a future neigborhood being built. The setup included physical installations with large screens and Wiimote controls where people could visit the virtual environment in a very engaging way. The same environment is available 24/7 on the web and has been used to organize citizen discussions around the project and visits from schools welcomed by the architects of the new neighborhood.
This definitely sets a new level in the state of the art for urban projects, entering the era of the social web and real time interactions between visitors with Assemblive.
